Charlie never had a chance To the editor: Like the thousands upon thousands before him, he did what he thought to be right....

I can't criticize Roxyzoe for raising her questions. In general, any non-profit organization should encourage "transparency." When it hides behind closed doors, that is when distrust is created.

teresa, do you really believe that i would write a letter to the editor without trying to enter this facility first?? I have tried on several occasions to find out why no one can enter and given lame excuses every time. My motives? the welfare of the animals, this is my motive and until the public can see for themselves that all is as it should be I will continue. I welcome the mgmt to contact me to discuss it,,,,but so far they have not been co operative. I am done with you since you too are not willing to meet with me

My comment did not state that the main point is the donation, the donation was in fact made by the author of letter to the editor as I said, I find it interesting that this point was made. Your letter has sinister intent and you may deny that all you wish, again if you were truly concerned about helping you would do that instead you create an air of distrust, you can answer my questions as now they maybe directed at you, but really what are your true motivations here? So heartbreaking that again I see animal rescue not helping, so what if they get donations they are taking dogs that no one else will help, that is why I volunteer for them, they are in it for the animals, the ones that do not have a voice, the less desirable and they do a great job in giving chances that others will not. Your "concerns" are ones that you should have brought up with them instead you chose a public podium, disappointing.
i am responding to Teresa Parsons...The fact that a donation was made to this organization is not the main point of my letter. You see, my rescue did not and will never lobby for a donation in this area. Although I am one of the co founders the others live in different counties where our fund raising is done. So your insinuation that $$$ plays a huge part is a moot point. Also, there was nothing slanderous or back biting in my letter. I am only asking for an "open door" policy at the facility. A policy that none of the other reputable rescues or sanctuaries have a problem enforcing. I also see that you a plethera of other questions that you have posted on their fb page but have yet to ask me directly. Please feel free to contact me either on fb or otherwise and i will be more than happy to answer each and every one of them in detail. I too have some questions for you as well. I have attempted to tour their facility and was told it is not permitted.
My comment to the person stating they have "over a decade" of rescue experience. I myself have worked in rescue and animal rehabilitation since I was 5 yrs. old, I am now 54. I have participated in rescue not only in the United States but also overseas, I am a veteran, wherever I went my passion for animals was with me. I would like to say to Ms. Hack, if you were truly concerned about the welfare of animals at any certain facility, instead of making damaging remarks, you would be helping. If you observed snow falling off of a roof onto an area that you thought was unacceptable then why didn't you go offer help? I find it curious that a donation was made to someone other than your rescue, and now the poison pen appears, that disgusts me. I have to say I have been all over the world and in this area of the great state of Ohio I find animal rescues least likely to help each other, there is a lot of complaining, slanderous comments and back biting to the only no kill in this ar
