I think they did a great job keeping up with the challenges ole mother nature flung at them this year. This was one of those sneak attack winters where she changed her mind many times. I thought they did great keeping up with that roller coaster ride. This was not an easy winter. It was one of those nice one day, blast the next and unpredictable condition changes. You can't blame the city crews for that. Hey I admit, I got caught out in that ugly weather a few times and didn't help to make road conditions or safety any better. The weather reporters even admitted conditions changing so fast played a huge part in it. So I think the road crews did great not only keeping up with the weather but those of us that got caught in those changing weather conditions.

And still Salems roads are the least plowed, salted, and most dangerous roads around the area in the winter. Amazing isn't it?
