What did Jesus have to say on the subject of truth? Jesus said your word is truth (john 17:17) also "the truth shall set you free" (john 8:32)
So for those who continue to spew lies...are you really free? Far greater is the need to please God and accept Christ as Savior than political gain and power.
What's so difficult to understand is when any person can tell a lie and any person can agree but neither will believe the truth when another presents fact. During the last election it happened all the time and only after the election did the media allow a very small percentage of the truth to be heard...but some still refuse to accept the truth.
One of our most precious freedoms is the freedom of speech. Another precious freedom is the freedom to ignore what is being spoken. I would say if someone does not want to listen to what someone has to say, then turn a deaf ear or blind eye to what is written. It is your right to not listen as well as it is for the gentleman to speak. I don't believe the constitution limits what we have the right to speak about or how often or even if opinions have to be researched.
Well, I'll start by saying that I'm fairly certain you fought for the right to not be forced to read something, but maybe I'm wrong..
If I can't "stand behind the 1st amendment" then what did you fight for? I don't mind your "attack", you're certainly entitled to your opinion. But I wish if you were going to call my spew "unresearched" that you would at least make a point or a rebuttal. If you don't want to take part in daily conversation, no one is forcing you. I don't really get the "stick to one point" idea either, but maybe you could explain it.
Additionally, I appreciate your service to the country. But I don't much care about the size of your marbles. I know many vets and active duty that would call you a "blowhard" for such a statement. It's also weird that, considering the self proclaimed size of your marbles, you choose to hide behind a screen name.
I know several people who are all about capitalism till the price of gas starts going up again. Then they start to holler cause the government has just got to do something. Yet the reason for the high prices is government interference to start with.
No, I don't think Walmart would get bailed out! They have a lot of workers, but since they aren't union, the left would, most likely, rather see them fail.

ladybug, show me and prove a single fact that I've posted and verified that was a lie.
I do not play that game. The truth is the truth no matter how you try and make it a lie. The truth, BTW, will set you free.

@ Grant:
Great letter, Grant! I figured out your political leanings a week or so ago. My sincere apologies for thinking you were a Democrat.
"Any semi automatic rifle (so called assault weapons for the liberals) has basically doubled in price over the last three months."
Yup. Saving my pennies for the coveted Mini-30, but used rifles are going for over MSRP for brand-new now. Curses!
Guess I'll have to wait another year, or until the 'scared' goes away when the Dems don't have the votes to further restrict our 2nd Amendment rights.

@ Mr. Caldwell:
I wrote Sheriff Stone about this, haven't heard back yet. Maybe you should contact the office, too. Let us know!
